Jesus asked,“ Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine?

耶穌說：「潔淨了的不是十個人嗎？那九個在哪裏呢？

耶穌應時地說：『得潔淨的不是十個麼？那九個在哪裏呢？

耶穌回答說：「被潔淨的不是有十個人嗎？另外九個在哪裡呢？

耶穌問曰：『愈者非十人乎？其餘九人安在？

Jesus asked,“ Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

Then Jesus answered,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?

Then Jesus said,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine?

But Jesus responded and said,“ Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine— where are they?

So Jesus answered and said,“ Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

Then Jesus said,“ Were not 10 cleansed? Where are the nine?

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where[ are] the nine?

Then Jesus said,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

Jesus answered,“ Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.

They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said,“ All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust.When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman.Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman,“ Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn’t wait for his counsel!

Then the Lord God called to the man,“ Where are you?”
