耶稣看见了，就对他们说：“你们去，让祭司检查你们吧！”结果在他们去的时候，就被洁净了。

耶稣吩咐他不要告诉任何人，说：“只要去把自己给祭司看，并且为了你的洁净，照着摩西所吩咐的去献上祭物，好对他们做见证。”

耶稣回答他，说：“现在你就答应吧，因为我们如此成全一切的义，是合宜的。”于是约翰答应了他。

但人如果在黑夜里行走，就会绊倒，因为在他里面没有光。”

耶稣伸出手来摸他，说：“我愿意，你洁净了吧！”那人的麻风病立刻就被洁净了。耶稣对他说：“你要注意，不可告诉任何人，只要去把自己给祭司看，并且献上摩西所吩咐的祭物，好对他们做见证。”

那时，他们还没有呼求，我就回应；他们还在说话，我就垂听。

他的母亲对仆人们说：“他吩咐你们什么，你们就做什么。”

耶稣对他说：“你回去吧，你的儿子活了！”那人相信耶稣的话，就回去了。他正下去的时候，他的奴仆们迎着他来，告诉他孩子活了。他就问孩子好转的时间，他们说：“昨天下午一点，烧就退了。”这位父亲就知道，那正是耶稣说“你的儿子活了”的时间。于是他自己和全家人都信了。

然后对他说：“到西罗亚池去洗一洗。”——“西罗亚”翻译出来就是“奉差派”。他去洗了，回来就能看见了。
