“ Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache, and cry,‘ Unclean! Unclean!’He shall be unclean. All the days he has the sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying,‘ God, be merciful to me a sinner!’

Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the Lord had struck him.King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death. He dwelt in an isolated house, because he was a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the Lord. Then Jotham his son was over the king’s house, judging the people of the land.

“ Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, everyone who has a discharge, and whoever becomes defiled by a corpse.You shall put out both male and female; you shall put them outside the camp, that they may not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.”

Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”
