So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say,‘ We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’”

如是、爾盡行所命、亦當曰、我乃無益之僕、行所當行已耳、○

如此、爾曹即行所命、亦自謂無益之僕、行所當行已耳、

如此、爾曹盡行所命爾之事、亦當曰、我乃無益之僕、行所當行已耳、○

是故爾等既盡厥職、亦宜曰：「吾儕無益之僕也、惟奉行所命而已矣。」』

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say,‘ We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

It’s the same with you. Suppose you have done everything you were told to do. Then you should say,‘ We are not worthy to serve you. We have only done our duty.’ ”

In the same way, when you obey me you should say,‘ We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’”

In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say,‘ We are unworthy servants; we’ve only done our duty.’”

So you too, when you do all the things which were commanded you, say,‘ We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’ ”

So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say,‘ We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’”

Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.

In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say,‘ We are good-for-nothing slaves; we’ve only done our duty.’”

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say,‘ We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.’”

Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say,‘ We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”

For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with a stewardship.

Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for“ God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

“ Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”

If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?If you are righteous, what do you give to him? Or what does he receive from your hand?

“ Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are in the right, or is it gain to him if you make your ways blameless?

We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them!For without cause they hid their net for me; without cause they dug a pit for my life.

And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

“ But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.For we are strangers before you and sojourners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no abiding.O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for your holy name comes from your hand and is all your own.

I say to the Lord,“ You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.

And I said:“ Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit.Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

Then the righteous will answer him, saying,‘ Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’And the King will answer them,‘ Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
