是故爾等既盡厥職、亦宜曰：「吾儕無益之僕也、惟奉行所命而已矣。」』

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say,‘ We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

In the same way, when you obey me you should say,‘ We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’”

So you too, when you do all the things which were commanded you, say,‘ We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’ ”

So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say,‘ We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’”

In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say,‘ We are good-for-nothing slaves; we’ve only done our duty.’”

They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one:

or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? Or what receiveth he of thy hand?

Can a man be profitable unto God? Surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself.Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? Or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?

For we are all become as one that is unclean, and all our righteousnesses are as a polluted garment: and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Let their way be dark and slippery, And the angel of Jehovah pursuing them.For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit; Without cause have they digged a pit for my soul.

And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as all our fathers were: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is no abiding.O Jehovah our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name cometh of thy hand, and is all thine own.

O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord: I have no good beyond thee.As for the saints that are in the earth, They are the excellent in whom is all my delight.

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts.

Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith:

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; But Jehovah weigheth the spirits.Commit thy works unto Jehovah, And thy purposes shall be established.

who once was unprofitable to thee, but now is profitable to thee and to me:
