掌家固不義、然其深思遠慮、即其主人、亦不能不為之歎佩。蓋世俗子之所以謀身者、有敏於光明子之所以謀道者焉。

“ The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

“ The manager had not been honest. But the master praised him for being clever. The people of this world are clever in dealing with those who are like themselves. They are more clever than God’s people.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

“ The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

And his master complimented the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.

从前你们是暗昧的，但如今在主里面是光明的，行事为人要像光明的子女—

你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子；我们不属黑夜，也不属幽暗。

你们趁着有光，要信从这光，使你们成为光明之子。”耶稣说了这些话，就离开他们隐藏了。

耶稣对他们说：“这世代的人有娶有嫁，

人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义，在大事上也不义。

懒惰人哪，你去察看蚂蚁的动作，就可得智慧。蚂蚁没有领袖，没有官长，没有君王，尚且在夏天预备食物，在收割时储存粮食。

耶和华上帝所造的，惟有蛇比田野一切的走兽更狡猾。蛇对女人说：“上帝岂是真说，你们不可吃园中任何树上所出的吗？”

耶和华啊，求你用手救我脱离世人，脱离那只在今生有福分的世人！你以财宝充满他们的肚腹，他们因有儿女就满足，将其余的财物留给他们的孩子。

来吧，让我们机巧地待他们，恐怕他们增多起来，将来若有战争，他们就联合我们的仇敌来攻击我们，然后离开这地去了。”

我知道怎么做，好叫人们在我不作管家之后，接我到他们家里去。’

他们的结局就是灭亡。他们的神明是自己的肚腹；他们以自己的羞辱为光荣，专以地上的事为念。

这就显明谁是上帝的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女了。凡不行义的，不是出于上帝，不爱他弟兄的，也是如此。

谁都不可自欺。你们中间若有人自以为在今世有智慧，倒不如变为愚拙，好成为有智慧的。

暗嫩有一个密友，名叫约拿达，是大卫长兄示米亚的儿子。这约拿达为人极其狡猾。

彼得说：“是向外人。”耶稣对他说：“既然如此，儿子就可以免了。

主说：“你们听这不义的官所说的话。

现在你们召集巴力的众先知和所有拜巴力的人，以及巴力的众祭司，都到我这里来，一个也不可缺少，因为我要给巴力献大祭；凡不来的必不得活。”耶户行诡诈，为要消灭拜巴力的人。

不过，你们是被拣选的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神圣的国度，是属上帝的子民，要使你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他要见智慧人死，愚昧人和畜牲一般的人一同灭亡，把他们的财货留给别人。他们虽以自己的名叫自己的地，坟墓却作他们永远的家，作他们世世代代的居所。人居尊贵中不能长久，如同死亡的畜类一样。他们所行之道本为自己的愚昧，后来的人却还佩服他们的话语。（细拉）他们如同羊群注定要下阴间，死亡必作他们的牧者；到了早晨，正直人必管辖他们。他们的形像必被阴间所灭，无处可容身。然而上帝必救赎我的命脱离阴间的掌控，因他必收纳我。（细拉）见人发财、家室日益显赫的时候，你不要惧怕；因为他死的时候什么也不能带去，他的荣耀不能随他下去。他活着的时候，虽然自夸为有福—你若自己行得好，人必夸奖你—他仍必与历代的祖宗一样同归死亡，永不见光。
