主人乃譽此不義之司事者、因其所行者巧也、蓋此世之子、為世事而謀、較光明之子尤巧、

掌家固不義、然其深思遠慮、即其主人、亦不能不為之歎佩。蓋世俗子之所以謀身者、有敏於光明子之所以謀道者焉。

“ The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

“ The manager had not been honest. But the master praised him for being clever. The people of this world are clever in dealing with those who are like themselves. They are more clever than God’s people.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

“ The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

And his master complimented the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.

从前你们是暗昧的，但如今在主里面是光明的，行事为人就当像光明的子女。

你们都是光明之子，都是白昼之子。我们不是属黑夜的，也不是属幽暗的。

你们应当趁着有光，信从这光，使你们成为光明之子。”耶稣说了这话，就离开他们，隐藏了。

耶稣说：“这世界的人有娶有嫁；

人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义，在大事上也不义。

懒惰人哪，你去察看蚂蚁的动作就可得智慧。蚂蚁没有元帅，没有官长，没有君王，尚且在夏天预备食物，在收割时聚敛粮食。

耶和华神所造的，惟有蛇比田野一切的活物更狡猾。蛇对女人说：“神岂是真说不许你们吃园中所有树上的果子吗？”

耶和华啊，求你用手救我脱离世人，脱离那只在今生有福分的世人！你把你的财宝充满他们的肚腹；他们因有儿女就心满意足，将其余的财物留给他们的婴孩。

来吧，我们不如用巧计待他们，恐怕他们多起来，日后若遇什么争战的事，就连合我们的仇敌攻击我们，离开这地去了。”

我知道怎么行，好叫人在我不作管家之后，接我到他们家里去。’

他们的结局就是沉沦；他们的神就是自己的肚腹。他们以自己的羞辱为荣耀，专以地上的事为念。

从此就显出谁是神的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女。凡不行义的就不属神，不爱弟兄的也是如此。

人不可自欺。你们中间若有人在这世界自以为有智慧，倒不如变作愚拙，好成为有智慧的。

暗嫩有一个朋友，名叫约拿达，是大卫长兄示米亚的儿子。这约拿达为人极其狡猾；

彼得说：“是向外人。”耶稣说：“既然如此，儿子就可以免税了。

主说：“你们听这不义之官所说的话。

现在我要给巴力献大祭。应当叫巴力的众先知和一切拜巴力的人，并巴力的众祭司，都到我这里来，不可缺少一个；凡不来的必不得活。”耶户这样行，是用诡计要杀尽拜巴力的人。

惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗、入奇妙光明者的美德。

他必见智慧人死，又见愚顽人和畜类人一同灭亡，将他们的财货留给别人。他们心里思想：他们的家室必永存，住宅必留到万代；他们以自己的名称自己的地。但人居尊贵中不能长久，如同死亡的畜类一样。他们行的这道本为自己的愚昧；但他们以后的人还佩服他们的话语。细拉他们如同羊群派定下阴间；死亡必作他们的牧者。到了早晨，正直人必管辖他们；他们的美容必被阴间所灭，以致无处可存。只是神必救赎我的灵魂脱离阴间的权柄，因他必收纳我。细拉见人发财、家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕；因为，他死的时候什么也不能带去；他的荣耀不能随他下去。他活着的时候，虽然自夸为有福（你若利己，人必夸奖你）；他仍必归到他历代的祖宗那里，永不见光。
