主見不義操會所行、稱其巧、蓋此世之人、其為身謀、較光明之人、尤巧也、○

主人乃譽此不義之司事者、因其所行者巧也、蓋此世之子、為世事而謀、較光明之子尤巧、

掌家固不義、然其深思遠慮、即其主人、亦不能不為之歎佩。蓋世俗子之所以謀身者、有敏於光明子之所以謀道者焉。

“ The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

“ The manager had not been honest. But the master praised him for being clever. The people of this world are clever in dealing with those who are like themselves. They are more clever than God’s people.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

“ The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of light in dealing with their own people.

And his master complimented the unrighteous manager because he had acted shrewdly; for the sons of this age are more shrewd in relation to their own kind than the sons of light.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.

“ The master praised the unrighteous manager because he had acted astutely. For the sons of this age are more astute than the sons of light in dealing with their own people.

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

你们从前是黑暗的，现今在主里却是光明的，行事为人就应当像光明的儿女。

你们都是光明之子、白昼之子；我们不是属于黑夜的，也不是属于黑暗的。

你们应当趁着有光的时候信从这光，使你们成为光明的儿女。”耶稣说完了这些话，就离开他们隐藏起来。

耶稣说：“这世界的人又娶又嫁，

在最小的事上忠心的，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不义的，在大事上也不义。

懒惰人哪！你去看看蚂蚁，察看它们所行的，就可得着智慧。蚂蚁没有元帅，没有官长，也没有统治者，尚且在夏天预备食物，在收割的时候积聚粮食。

在耶和华神所造野地所有的活物中，蛇是最狡猾的。蛇对女人说：“神真的说过，你们不可吃园中任何树上的果子吗？”

耶和华啊！求你用手救我脱离世人，脱离那些只在今生有分的世人。求你用你为他们储存的充满他们的肚腹，使他们的儿女都可以饱尝，他们还有剩余的留给他们的子孙。

来吧，我们要用巧计对付他们，恐怕他们增多起来，一旦发生战争，他们就与我们的仇敌联合，攻击我们，并且离开这地。”

我知道要怎么作了，好使人在我离开管家的职务以后，接我到他们家里去。’

他们的结局是灭亡，他们的神是自己的肚腹，他们以自己的羞辱为荣耀，所思想的都是地上的事。

这样，谁是神的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女，就很明显了。凡不行义的，就不是出于神，不爱弟兄的，也是这样。

谁也不要自欺。如果你们当中有人以为自己在这世代里是有智慧的，他就应该变为愚笨，好让他有智慧。

暗嫩有一个朋友，名叫约拿达，是大卫的哥哥示米亚的儿子。约拿达是一个非常狡猾的人。

他回答：“外人。”耶稣对他说：“这样，儿子就可以免税了。

主说：“你们听听这不义的法官所说的话吧。

现在，所有的巴力先知、所有信奉他的和他所有的祭司都要给我召来，不要走漏一人；因为我要向巴力献一个极大的祭，缺席的必不得活。”耶户用诡计这样行，是要除灭所有信奉巴力的人。

然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他看见智慧人死去，愚昧人和愚顽人一同灭亡，把他们的财产留给别人。他们心里想，他们的家必永存，他们的住处必留到万代；他们以自己的名，称自己的地方。但是人不能长享富贵；他们就像要灭亡的牲畜一样。这就是愚昧人的道路；但在他们以后的人，还欣赏他们的话。（细拉）他们好像羊群被派定下阴间；死亡必作他们的牧人。到了早晨，正直人要管辖他们；他们的形体必被阴间消灭，他们再没有住处。但神必救赎我的灵魂脱离阴间的权势，因为他必把我接去。（细拉）别人发财，家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕。因为他死的时候，什么也不能带走；他的荣华也不能随他下去。他在世的时候，虽然自称是有福的，并且说：“只要你丰足，人就称赞你。”他还要归到他历代的祖宗那里去，永不再见光明。
