“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

He said to him,‘ If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

他們和保羅約好了一個日子，到那日有很多人到他的住所來見他。他從早到晚向他們講解，為神的國竭力作見證，引用摩西的律法和先知的話勸他們信耶穌。

如果我們的福音被蒙蔽了，那是對滅亡的人才蒙蔽的。

亞基帕對保羅說：“你想用這樣短短的時間就可以說服我作基督徒嗎！”

一連三個月，保羅都到會堂裡去，放膽宣講，辯論神的國的事，勸導人。

我們既然知道主是可畏的，就勸勉眾人。我們在神面前是顯明的，我盼望在你們的良心裡也是顯明的。

於是祭司長想把拉撒路也殺掉，因為有許多猶太人為了拉撒路的緣故，離開他們，信了耶穌。

說了這話，就大聲呼喊：“拉撒路，出來！”那死了的人就出來，他的手腳都纏著布，臉上裹著巾。耶穌說：“解開他，讓他走！”有許多到馬利亞那裡去的猶太人，看見了耶穌所作的事，就信了他。但他們中間有些人到法利賽人那裡去，把耶穌所作的事都告訴他們。於是祭司長和法利賽人召開公議會，說：“這個人行了許多神蹟，我們怎麼辦呢？我們若讓他這樣，所有的人都會信他，羅馬人就會來，奪取我們的聖地，除滅我們的民族。”他們當中有一位該亞法，是那年作大祭司的，對他們說：“你們甚麼都不知道，也不去想想，一個人代替人民死，免得整個民族滅亡，這對你們是有益的。”他說這話不是由於自己，而是因為他是那年的大祭司，所以預言耶穌要替猶太民族死；不但替猶太民族死，也要把散居各地的神的兒女招聚成為一體。從那天起，他們就想殺害耶穌。

願神使雅弗擴展，使雅弗住在閃的帳棚裡；願迦南作他的奴僕。”
