亞伯漢曰：「不聽摩西與先知、縱死者復活亦不可勸化矣。」

“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

He said to him,‘ If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

他们和保罗约好了一个日子，到那日有很多人到他的住所来见他。他从早到晚向他们讲解，为神的国竭力作见证，引用摩西的律法和先知的话劝他们信耶稣。

如果我们的福音被蒙蔽了，那是对灭亡的人才蒙蔽的。

亚基帕对保罗说：“你想用这样短短的时间就可以说服我作基督徒吗！”

一连三个月，保罗都到会堂里去，放胆宣讲，辩论神的国的事，劝导人。

我们既然知道主是可畏的，就劝勉众人。我们在神面前是显明的，我盼望在你们的良心里也是显明的。

于是祭司长想把拉撒路也杀掉，因为有许多犹太人为了拉撒路的缘故，离开他们，信了耶稣。

说了这话，就大声呼喊：“拉撒路，出来！”那死了的人就出来，他的手脚都缠着布，脸上裹着巾。耶稣说：“解开他，让他走！”有许多到马利亚那里去的犹太人，看见了耶稣所作的事，就信了他。但他们中间有些人到法利赛人那里去，把耶稣所作的事都告诉他们。于是祭司长和法利赛人召开公议会，说：“这个人行了许多神迹，我们怎么办呢？我们若让他这样，所有的人都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地，除灭我们的民族。”他们当中有一位该亚法，是那年作大祭司的，对他们说：“你们什么都不知道，也不去想想，一个人代替人民死，免得整个民族灭亡，这对你们是有益的。”他说这话不是由于自己，而是因为他是那年的大祭司，所以预言耶稣要替犹太民族死；不但替犹太民族死，也要把散居各地的神的儿女招聚成为一体。从那天起，他们就想杀害耶稣。

愿神使雅弗扩展，使雅弗住在闪的帐棚里；愿迦南作他的奴仆。”
