不第此也、爾我間限以巨淵、欲由此赴爾不能也、由彼過我、亦不能也、

不第此也、爾我之間、限一巨壑、欲由此過爾處不能、由彼過我處亦不能、

他們如同羊羣註定要下陰間，死亡必作他們的牧者；到了早晨，正直人必管轄他們。他們的形像必被陰間所滅，無處可容身。

「你們忘記神的，要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，無人搭救。

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不到永生，而且神的憤怒常在他身上。」

注意！你們這些富足人哪，要為將要臨到你們身上的災難哭泣、號咷。你們的財物腐爛了，你們的衣服被蟲子蛀了。你們的金銀都生銹了；這銹要證明你們的不是，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們在這末世只知道積蓄錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼，你們剋扣他們的工錢；這工錢在喊冤，而且收割工人的冤聲已經進入萬軍之主的耳朵了。你們在地上享奢華宴樂，把自己養肥了，等候宰殺的日子。你們定了義人的罪，把他殺害，他沒有抵抗你們。所以弟兄們，你們要忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫等候着地裏寶貴的出產，耐心地等到它得了秋霖春雨。

「四圍恨惡以色列家的人，對他們必不再如刺人的荊棘，傷人的蒺藜；他們就知道我是主耶和華。」

那時你們必再一次看出義人和惡人，事奉神和不事奉神的人有何差別。」

所以，我們在神的各教會裏為你們誇耀，因為你們在所受的一切壓迫患難中仍牢守着耐心和信心。這正是神公義判斷的明證，使你們配得上他的國，你們就是為這國受苦。既然神是公義的，他必以患難報復那加患難給你們的人，也必使你們這受患難的人與我們同得平安。那時，主耶穌同他有權能的天使從天上在火焰中顯現，要報應那些不認識神和不聽從我們的主耶穌福音的人。

亞比該到拿八那裏，看哪，他在家裏擺設宴席，如同王的宴席。拿八心情舒暢，酩酊大醉。所以亞比該大小事都沒有告訴他，直等到早晨天亮的時候。

我告訴你，就是最後一小文錢還沒有還清，你也絕不能從那裏出來。」

太陽出來，熱風颳起，草就枯乾，花也凋謝，它美麗的樣子就消失了；那富足的人在他一生的奔波中也要這樣衰殘。忍受試煉的人有福了，因為他經過考驗以後必得生命的冠冕，這是主應許給愛他之人的。

這些人要往永刑裏去；那些義人要往永生裏去。」

那迷惑他們的魔鬼被扔進硫磺的火湖裏，就是那獸和假先知所在的地方，他們會晝夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

不義的，讓他仍舊不義；污穢的，讓他仍舊污穢；為義的，讓他仍舊為義；聖潔的，讓他仍舊聖潔。」
