不第此也、爾我間限以巨淵、欲由此赴爾不能也、由彼過我、亦不能也、

他們註定要死，與羊無異，死亡是他們的牧者；到了早晨，他們必被正直人管轄，他們的軀體必朽爛在墳墓裡，遠離自己的豪宅。

忘記上帝的人啊，你們要省察，免得我毀滅你們，那時誰也救不了你們。

信子的人有永生；不信子的人得不到永生，上帝的烈怒常在他身上。」

你們這些富有的人啊！為那將要臨到你們身上的災難痛哭哀號吧！你們的財物朽壞了，衣服也被蟲蛀了。你們的金銀生了鏽，那鏽必要指控你們，像火一樣吞噬你們的身體。在末世的日子裡，你們只知道積攢財寶。工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在世上奢侈享樂，在被宰殺的日子裡，把自己養得肥肥胖胖。你們冤枉好人、殘害無辜，他們也沒有反抗。弟兄姊妹，你們要一直忍耐到主來。你們看農夫怎樣耐心等候地裡寶貴的出產，等候秋雨和春雨的降臨。

「『藐視以色列人的鄰邦必不再作刺他們的荊棘，傷他們的蒺藜，這樣人們就知道我是主耶和華。』

那時，你們將再度看出義人與惡人之間的區別，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之間的不同。

因此，我們在上帝的眾教會中誇獎你們在各種迫害和患難中的堅忍和信心。你們這種表現正是上帝公義審判的明證，使你們配進上帝的國，你們正在為這國受苦。上帝是公義的，祂必以患難來報應那些迫害你們的人。當主耶穌和祂大能的天使在烈焰中從天上顯現時，祂必使你們這些受苦的人和我們同得安慰，懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。主降臨的那日，祂要在祂的眾聖徒中得到榮耀，使所有的信徒驚歎不已。你們也會在當中，因為你們相信了我們做的見證。

她回到家時，拿八正在大擺宴席，排場如御宴。她見拿八心情愉快，喝得酩酊大醉，就什麼也沒告訴他，等第二天早上再說。

我告訴你，除非你付清所欠的每一分錢，否則休想出監牢。」

驕陽升起，草就乾枯，花也凋謝，美麗就消失了。富有的人在忙忙碌碌中也會如此衰殘。在試煉中能夠忍耐到底的人有福了，因為他若經得起考驗，就會得到主應許賜給愛祂之人的生命冠冕。

這些人要受永遠的刑罰，但義人要得到永遠的生命。」

那欺騙他們的魔鬼被扔進了怪獸和假先知所待的硫磺火湖中，在那裡晝夜受苦，直到永永遠遠！

不義的，讓他繼續不義；污穢的，讓他繼續污穢；公義的，讓他保持公義；聖潔的，讓他保持聖潔。」
