你们这些富有的人啊！为那将要临到你们身上的灾难痛哭哀号吧！你们的财物朽坏了，衣服也被虫蛀了。你们的金银生了锈，那锈必要指控你们，像火一样吞噬你们的身体。在末世的日子里，你们只知道积攒财宝。工人替你们收割庄稼，你们却克扣他们的工钱。那工钱发出不平的呼喊，工人的冤声已经传到万军之主的耳中了。你们在世上奢侈享乐，在被宰杀的日子里，把自己养得肥肥胖胖。你们冤枉好人、残害无辜，他们也没有反抗。弟兄姊妹，你们要一直忍耐到主来。你们看农夫怎样耐心等候地里宝贵的出产，等候秋雨和春雨的降临。

“‘藐视以色列人的邻邦必不再作刺他们的荆棘，伤他们的蒺藜，这样人们就知道我是主耶和华。’

那时，你们将再度看出义人与恶人之间的区别，事奉上帝者和不事奉上帝者之间的不同。

因此，我们在上帝的众教会中夸奖你们在各种迫害和患难中的坚忍和信心。你们这种表现正是上帝公义审判的明证，使你们配进上帝的国，你们正在为这国受苦。上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。当主耶稣和祂大能的天使在烈焰中从天上显现时，祂必使你们这些受苦的人和我们同得安慰，惩罚那些不认识上帝、不听从有关我们主耶稣之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罚就是离开主的面和祂荣耀的权能，永远灭亡。主降临的那日，祂要在祂的众圣徒中得到荣耀，使所有的信徒惊叹不已。你们也会在当中，因为你们相信了我们做的见证。

她回到家时，拿八正在大摆宴席，排场如御宴。她见拿八心情愉快，喝得酩酊大醉，就什么也没告诉他，等第二天早上再说。

我告诉你，除非你付清所欠的每一分钱，否则休想出监牢。”

骄阳升起，草就干枯，花也凋谢，美丽就消失了。富有的人在忙忙碌碌中也会如此衰残。在试炼中能够忍耐到底的人有福了，因为他若经得起考验，就会得到主应许赐给爱祂之人的生命冠冕。

这些人要受永远的刑罚，但义人要得到永远的生命。”

那欺骗他们的魔鬼被扔进了怪兽和假先知所待的硫磺火湖中，在那里昼夜受苦，直到永永远远！

不义的，让他继续不义；污秽的，让他继续污秽；公义的，让他保持公义；圣洁的，让他保持圣洁。”
