他就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路来，用指头尖蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦。’

就喊着说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！求你可怜我，派拉撒路用指尖蘸点水来润润我的舌头吧！我在这火中实在痛苦不堪。’

就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕啊，可怜我吧！打发拉撒路来用指头蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头吧！因为我在这火焰里非常痛苦。’

就呼唤说：‘我父亚伯拉罕，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路用指头蘸点水，凉一下我的舌头吧，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦！’

他就呼喊說：「我祖亞伯拉罕哪，憐恤我吧！打發拉撒路用指頭尖兒蘸水涼涼我的舌頭吧；因為我在這火焰中、極其慘苦啊。」

就呼喚說：『我父亞伯拉罕，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路用指頭蘸點水，涼一下我的舌頭吧，因為我在這火焰裡，極其痛苦！』

遂呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕乎、矜恤我、遣拉撒路以指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋我在此火燄中苦甚、

呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋此火燄中苦甚、

乃呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路以指尖蘸水涼我舌、因我在此火燄中苦甚、

乃竭聲而呼曰：「大父亞伯漢、其垂憐焉！予處燄中、苦不堪言、請發辣柴魯沾水指尖、以涼吾舌。」

So he called to him,‘ Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

So the rich man called out,‘ Father Abraham! Have pity on me! Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water. Then he can cool my tongue with it. I am in terrible pain in this fire.’

And he called out,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’

“ The rich man shouted,‘ Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’

‘ Father Abraham!’ he called out,‘ Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!’

And he cried out and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

“ Then he cried and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.

‘ Father Abraham!’ he called out,‘ Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!’

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

So he called out,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in anguish in this fire.’

He cried and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (niv)

‘ Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd;‘ he will lead them to springs of living water.’‘ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’” (niv)

Jesus answered her,“ If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” (niv)

“ Then he will say to those on his left,‘ Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (niv)

but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (niv)

“‘ No, father Abraham,’ he said,‘ but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ (niv)

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. (niv)

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. (niv)

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment. (niv)

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (niv)

they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” (niv)

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. (niv)

“ And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.” (niv)

This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. (niv)

And do not think you can say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. (niv)

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. (niv)

When its twigs are dry, they are broken off and women come and make fires with them. For this is a people without understanding; so their Maker has no compassion on them, and their Creator shows them no favor. (niv)

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister,‘ Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says,‘ You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. (niv)

“ The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. (niv)

And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised. (niv)

They answered him,“ We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”Jesus replied,“ Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word.I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”“ Abraham is our father,” they answered.“ If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus,“ then you would do what Abraham did. (niv)

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,“ Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. (niv)

Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”Jesus replied,“ If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me.Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” (niv)

But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (niv)

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; my servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; my servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts, but you will cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit. (niv)

Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary,“ It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring. (niv)

Samuel said,“ Why do you consult me, now that the Lord has departed from you and become your enemy? (niv)
