他就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路来，用指头尖蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦。’

就喊着说，‘我的先祖亚伯拉罕啊！求你可怜我，派拉撒路用指尖蘸点水来润润我的舌头吧！我在这火中实在痛苦不堪。’

就喊着说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕啊，可怜我吧！打发拉撒路来用指头蘸点水，凉凉我的舌头吧！因为我在这火焰里非常痛苦。’

就呼唤说：‘我父亚伯拉罕，可怜我吧！请打发拉撒路用指头蘸点水，凉一下我的舌头吧，因为我在这火焰里，极其痛苦！’

就喊着說：『我祖亞伯拉罕哪，可憐我吧！打發拉撒路來，用指頭尖蘸點水，涼涼我的舌頭；因為我在這火焰裏，極其痛苦。』

他就喊着說：『我祖亞伯拉罕哪，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路來，用指頭尖蘸點水，涼涼我的舌頭，因為我在這火焰裏，極其痛苦。』

他就喊着說：『我祖亞伯拉罕哪，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路來，用指頭尖蘸點水，涼涼我的舌頭，因為我在這火焰裏，極其痛苦。』

就喊著說，『我的先祖亞伯拉罕啊！求你可憐我，派拉撒路用指尖蘸點水來潤潤我的舌頭吧！我在這火中實在痛苦不堪。』

就喊著說：‘我祖亞伯拉罕啊，可憐我吧！打發拉撒路來用指頭蘸點水，涼涼我的舌頭吧！因為我在這火燄裡非常痛苦。’

他就呼喊說：「我祖亞伯拉罕哪，憐恤我吧！打發拉撒路用指頭尖兒蘸水涼涼我的舌頭吧；因為我在這火焰中、極其慘苦啊。」

就呼喚說：『我父亞伯拉罕，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路用指頭蘸點水，涼一下我的舌頭吧，因為我在這火焰裡，極其痛苦！』

遂呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕乎、矜恤我、遣拉撒路以指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋我在此火燄中苦甚、

呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路指尖蘸水涼我舌、蓋此火燄中苦甚、

乃呼曰、我祖亞伯拉罕、矜恤我、遣拉撒路以指尖蘸水涼我舌、因我在此火燄中苦甚、

乃竭聲而呼曰：「大父亞伯漢、其垂憐焉！予處燄中、苦不堪言、請發辣柴魯沾水指尖、以涼吾舌。」

So he called to him,‘ Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

So the rich man called out,‘ Father Abraham! Have pity on me! Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water. Then he can cool my tongue with it. I am in terrible pain in this fire.’

And he called out,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’

“ The rich man shouted,‘ Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’

And he cried out and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’

“ Then he cried and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.

‘ Father Abraham!’ he called out,‘ Have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame!’

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

So he called out,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in anguish in this fire.’

He cried and said,‘ Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.’

Then he showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

They will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any scorching heat.For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; he will guide them to springs of the waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Jesus answered,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who is saying to you,‘ Give me a drink,’ you would ask him, and he would give you living water.”

“ Then he will also say to those on the left,‘ Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up in him for eternal life.”

“‘ No, father Abraham,’ he said.‘ But if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among our members. It stains the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance. And don’t start saying to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who has not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath, which is poured full strength into the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb,and the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name.

“ And if your hand causes you to fall away, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than to have two hands and go to hell, the unquenchable fire.

“ As they leave, they will see the dead bodies of those who have rebelled against me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never go out, and they will be a horror to all humanity.”

This will be the plague with which the LORD strikes all the people who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

And don’t presume to say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones.

when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

When its branches dry out, they will be broken off. Women will come and make fires with them, for they are not a people with understanding. Therefore their Maker will not have compassion on them, and their Creator will not be gracious to them.

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.

The poor and the needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I will answer them. I am the LORD, the God of Israel. I will not abandon them.I will open rivers on the barren heights, and springs in the middle of the plains. I will turn the desert into a pool and dry land into springs.

And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.

“ We are descendants of Abraham,” they answered him,“ and we have never been enslaved to anyone. How can you say,‘ You will become free’?”Jesus responded,“ Truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.A slave does not remain in the household forever, but a son does remain forever.So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.I know you are descendants of Abraham, but you are trying to kill me because my word has no place among you.I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father; so then, you do what you have heard from your father.”“ Our father is Abraham,” they replied.“ If you were Abraham’s children,” Jesus told them,“ you would do what Abraham did.

On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and cried out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.

Are you greater than our father Abraham who died? And the prophets died. Who do you claim to be?”“ If I glorify myself,” Jesus answered,“ my glory is nothing. My Father— about whom you say,‘ He is our God’— he is the one who glorifies me.You do not know him, but I know him. If I were to say I don’t know him, I would be a liar like you. But I do know him, and I keep his word.Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and was glad.”

But the beast was taken prisoner, and along with it the false prophet, who had performed the signs in its presence. He deceived those who accepted the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image with these signs. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says:“ Look! My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Look! My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Look! My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.Look! My servants will shout for joy from a glad heart, but you will cry out from an anguished heart, and you will lament out of a broken spirit.

Neither is it the case that all of Abraham’s children are his descendants. On the contrary, your offspring will be traced through Isaac.That is, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but the children of the promise are considered to be the offspring.

Samuel answered,“ Since the LORD has turned away from you and has become your enemy, why are you asking me?
