腓力找到拿但业，对他说：“摩西在律法书上所写的，和众先知所记的那一位，我们遇见了，就是约瑟的儿子拿撒勒人耶稣。”

要边走边传，说‘天国近了’。

从那时候，耶稣开始宣讲，说：“你们要悔改！因为天国近了。”

约翰下监以后，耶稣来到加利利，宣讲上帝的福音，

从撒母耳以来和后继的众先知，凡说预言的，也都曾宣告这些日子。你们是先知的子孙，也是上帝与你们祖宗所立之约的子孙，就是对亚伯拉罕说：‘地上万族都将因你的后裔得福。’

‘就是你们城里的尘土粘在我们的脚上，我们也当着你们擦去。但是，你们该知道上帝的国临近了。’

但上帝藉着众先知的口预先宣告过基督将要受害的事，就这样应验了。

要医治那城里的病人，对他们说：‘上帝的国临近你们了。’

又差遣他们宣讲上帝的国，医治病人，

亚伯拉罕对他说：‘如果他们不听从摩西和先知的话，就是有人从死人中复活，他们也不会信服的。’”

亚伯拉罕说：‘他们有摩西和先知的话可以听从。’

若让他这样做，人人都要信他；罗马人也要来毁灭我们的圣殿和我们的民族。”

法利赛人彼此说：“你们看，你们一事无成，世人都随着他去了。”

耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教导人，宣讲天国的福音，医治百姓各样的疾病。

那人出去，倒说许多的话，把这件事传扬开了，使耶稣不能再公开进城，只好留在外边旷野地方，人从各处都到他跟前来。
