你們出去，到底是為了甚麼？要看神言人麼？是的，我告訴你們；而且還是比神言人大多的呢！這個人就是經上所記到的，說：「看哪，我差遣我的使者在你前面，他要在你前面準備你的道路。」我實在告訴你們，婦人所生的，沒有一個興起來比施洗者約翰更大的；然而在天國裏最小的比他還大！從施洗者約翰到現在，天國運用着權力，用力的人攫取了它。因為眾神言人和律法書傳了神言，到約翰為止。你們若肯接受，這人就是那將要來的以利亞。

因為約翰引着義路到你們這裏來，你們不信他；收稅人和妓女倒信他。你們看了之後，還是沒有後悔而去信他。

說，『你們要悔改；因為天國近了。』

你們出去，到底是要看甚麼呢？神言人麼？是的、我告訴你們；還是比神言人大多的呢！這個人就是經上所記到的、說：「看哪，我差遣我的使者在你前面；他要在你前面準備你的道路。」我告訴你們，婦人所生的、沒有一個比約翰大的；然而在上帝國裏最小的、比他還大！』（眾民和收稅人因受過約翰的洗、聽見了這話、就承認上帝為義。

腓力找着了拿但業，就對他說：『摩西在《律法書》上所寫的、和神言人們所記的那一位、我們已經遇見了，就是約瑟的兒子、拿撒勒人耶穌。』

你們一邊走路要一邊宣傳說：「天國近了」。

從那時候耶穌開始宣傳說：『你們要悔改！因為天國近了。』

約翰被送了官以後，耶穌到加利利去，宣傳上帝的福音，

從撒母耳以及後繼的眾神言人以來、凡講話的、也都宣佈這些日子。你們呢、乃是神言人們的子孫，又是上帝向你們列祖所立的約的子孫；立約時上帝對亞伯拉罕說：「地上萬家族都必因你的後裔而蒙祝福。」

「就是你們城裏的飛塵、粘着我們腳上的、我們也當着你們面前拂去啊。然而這一點你們該知道：上帝的國是臨近了。」

但上帝卻叫自己藉着眾神言人的口所先宣佈他所膏立者基督將要受害的事、就這樣應驗了。

要治好其中的病人，對他們說：「上帝的國臨近你們了。」

就差遣他們去宣傳上帝的國，並且行醫。

亞伯拉罕對他說：「他們若不聽摩西和神言人，就使有一個人從死人中復起了，他們還是不確信的。」』

亞伯拉罕說：「他們有摩西和神言人，讓他們聽他們吧。」

若由着他這樣，眾人都會信他，羅馬人就會來，連我們的聖地帶我們民族都奪取了去啊。』

於是法利賽人就彼此說：『可見你們是無濟於事的；你看，世界都去跟着他了！』

耶穌在全加利利周遊着，在他們的會堂裏教訓人，宣傳天國的福音，治好了民間的各樣疾病、各樣病症。

那人出去，倒宣傳許多話來，把這件事傳揚開了，以致耶穌再也不能顯然進城，只好在外邊荒野地方；人從四面來找他。
