Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

As you go, proclaim,‘ The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

From then on Jesus began to preach,“ Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

After John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God:

“ In addition, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those after him, have also foretold these days.You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.

‘ We are wiping off even the dust of your town that clings to our feet as a witness against you. Know this for certain: The kingdom of God has come near.’

In this way God fulfilled what he had predicted through all the prophets— that his Messiah would suffer.

Heal the sick who are there, and tell them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near you.’

Then he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Now Jesus began to go all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Yet he went out and began to proclaim it widely and to spread the news, with the result that Jesus could no longer enter a town openly. But he was out in deserted places, and they came to him from everywhere.
