你们这些淫乱的人哪，岂不知与世俗为友就是与神为敌吗？所以凡想要与世俗为友的，就是与神为敌了。

“人到我这里来，若不爱我胜过爱自己的父母、妻子、儿女、弟兄、姐妹，和自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。

因为，随从肉体的人体贴肉体的事；随从圣灵的人体贴圣灵的事。体贴肉体的，就是死；体贴圣灵的，乃是生命、平安。原来体贴肉体的，就是与神为仇；因为不服神的律法，也是不能服。而且属肉体的人不能得神的喜欢。

若是你们以侍奉耶和华为不好，今日就可以选择所要侍奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所侍奉的神呢？是你们所住这地的亚摩利人的神呢？至于我和我家，我们必定侍奉耶和华。”

不与我相合的，就是敌我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。”

我又告诉你们，要藉着那不义的钱财结交朋友，到了钱财无用的时候，他们可以接你们到永存的帐幕里去。

耶稣说：“撒但，退去吧！因为经上记着说：‘当拜主你的神，单要侍奉他。’”

岂不晓得你们献上自己作奴仆，顺从谁，就作谁的奴仆吗？或作罪的奴仆，以至于死；或作顺命的奴仆，以至成义。感谢神！因为你们从前虽然作罪的奴仆，现今却从心里顺服了所传给你们道理的模范。你们既从罪里得了释放，就作了义的奴仆。我因你们肉体的软弱，就照人的常话对你们说。你们从前怎样将肢体献给不洁不法作奴仆，以至于不法；现今也要照样将肢体献给义作奴仆，以至于成圣。因为你们作罪之奴仆的时候，就不被义约束了。你们现今所看为羞耻的事，当日有什么果子呢？那些事的结局就是死。但现今，你们既从罪里得了释放，作了神的奴仆，就有成圣的果子，那结局就是永生。

耶稣说：“不要禁止他；因为不敌挡你们的，就是帮助你们的。”
