“或者，如果一个妇人有十个银币，丢失了一个，难道她不点上油灯，打扫屋子，仔细寻找，直到找到了它吗？

「或是一個婦人有十塊錢，若失落一塊，豈不點上燈，打掃屋子，細細地找，直到找着嗎？

或婦有銀錢十、而亡其一、豈不燃燈掃室、勤而覓之、至於獲乎、

或婦有金錢十、失其一、豈不燃燈掃室、勤求至於獲乎、

或婦有金錢十、失其一、豈不燃燈掃室、勤求至於得乎、

再如婦人、有銀錢十而落其一、焉有不燃燈掃室、爬羅剔抉以覓之者乎？

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find[ it]?

“ Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search thoroughly until she finds it?

Or what woman, if she had ten drachma coins, if she lost one drachma coin, wouldn’t light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it?

As a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become one flock, with one shepherd.

and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
