來到家裏，就招集朋友和同鄉，對他們說：「和我一同歡喜吧，因為我那失掉的羊、我已經找着了。

歸而集其友鄰、謂之曰、與我同樂、我之亡羊已獲矣、

會其友鄰曰亡羊既獲、與我同樂、

歸家、集其友與鄰謂之曰、爾與我同樂、以亡羊已得矣、

召其鄰友曰：「亡羊已獲、胥其與吾同樂。」

因為我這個兒子是死而復活，失而復得的。』他們就開始慶祝。

我走迷了路如同失喪的羊，求你尋找你的僕人，因我不忘記你的命令。

我告訴你們，一個罪人悔改，神的使者也是這樣為他歡喜。」

你們從前好像迷路的羊，如今卻歸回你們靈魂的牧人和監督了。

娶新娘的是新郎；新郎的朋友站在一旁聽，一聽見新郎的聲音就歡喜快樂。因此，我這喜樂得以滿足了。

所以，弟兄們，我們在一切困苦患難中，因着你們的信心得到鼓勵。如今你們若靠主站立得穩，我們就得生了。我們在神面前，因着你們滿有喜樂。為這一切喜樂，我們能用怎樣的感謝為你們報答神呢？

「你們所有愛慕耶路撒冷的啊，要與她一同歡喜，為她高興；你們所有為她悲哀的啊，都要與她一同樂上加樂；使你們在她安慰的懷中吃奶得飽，盡情吸取她豐盛的榮耀，滿心喜樂。」

他到了那裏，看見神所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉眾人要立定心志，恆久靠主。

我告訴你們，一個罪人悔改，在天上也要這樣為他歡喜，比為九十九個不用悔改的義人歡喜還大呢！」

我以你們的信心為供獻的祭物，我若被澆獻在其上也是喜樂，並且與你們眾人一同喜樂。

忽然，有一大隊天兵同那天使讚美神說：「在至高之處榮耀歸與神！在地上平安歸與他所喜悅的人！」

於是教會為他們送行。他們經過腓尼基、撒瑪利亞，沿途敘說外邦人歸主的事，使眾弟兄都非常歡喜。

我所親愛、所想念的弟兄們，你們就是我的喜樂，我的冠冕。我親愛的，你們應當靠主站立得穩。

當我們的主耶穌再來，我們站在他面前的時候，我們的盼望、喜樂和所誇的冠冕是甚麼呢？不正是你們嗎？

你們若遵行我所命令的，就是我的朋友。

「你們從前不是子民，現在卻成了神的子民；從前未曾蒙憐憫，現在卻蒙了憐憫。」

每逢為你們眾人祈求的時候，總是歡歡喜喜地祈求，
