並邀來朋友鄰居，說，『我走失的羊找到了，來和我一同慶祝吧！』

就请朋友邻舍来，对他们说：‘我失去的羊已经找着了，你们和我一同欢喜吧！’

他回到家里，请朋友和邻舍来，对他们说：‘你们和我一同欢喜吧，我失去的羊已经找到了！’

并邀来朋友邻居，说，‘我走失的羊找到了，来和我一同庆祝吧！’

召其鄰友曰：「亡羊已獲、胥其與吾同樂。」

因我這兒子是死而復活、失而復得的。』於是他們歡宴慶祝。

我像隻迷途的羊，求你來尋找僕人，因為我沒有忘記你的命令。

我告訴你們，同樣，一個罪人悔改，上帝的眾天使也會這樣為他歡喜。」

從前你們好像是迷路的羊，現在卻歸向了你們靈魂的牧人和監護者。

娶新娘的是新郎，站在旁邊的朋友聽見新郎的聲音，就會歡喜快樂。因此，我現在也心滿意足了。

弟兄姊妹，你們的信心使我們在萬般困苦和患難中得到了激勵。得知你們靠著主堅定不移，我們現在感到振奮。你們使我們在上帝面前感到非常喜樂，我們該怎樣為你們感謝上帝呢！

「愛耶路撒冷的人啊，要與她一同歡喜，為她高興。為她悲哀的人啊，要與她盡情歡樂。你們必在她舒適的懷抱裡得到滿足，如嬰兒歡快地在母親懷中吮吸充足的奶汁。」

他到達後，看見上帝所賜的恩典，就萬分高興，勸勉他們要全心地忠於主。

我告訴你們，同樣，一個罪人悔改，在天上也要這樣為他歡喜，甚至比有九十九個不用悔改的義人還歡喜。

你們的信心就是獻給上帝的事奉和祭物，即使在上面澆奠我的生命，我也很喜樂，並且和你們大家一同喜樂。

忽然，有一大隊天軍出現，與那天使一同讚美上帝說：「在至高之處，願榮耀歸於上帝！在地上，願平安臨到祂所喜悅的人！」

於是教會為他們送行。他們經過腓尼基和撒瑪利亞，沿途報告外族人悔改信主的消息，弟兄姊妹都大受鼓舞。

我所親愛、所想念的弟兄姊妹，你們就是我的喜樂，我的冠冕。我親愛的弟兄姊妹，你們要靠主堅定不移。

我們主耶穌再來的時候，我們在祂面前的盼望、喜樂和可誇耀的冠冕是什麼呢？不就是你們嗎？

你們如果照我的吩咐去做，就是我的朋友。

從前你們不是上帝的子民，現在卻作了祂的子民；從前你們未蒙憐憫，現在卻蒙了憐憫。

每次為你們眾人禱告的時候，我心裡都很喜樂。
