Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he will see his offspring. He will prolong his days and Yahweh’s pleasure will prosper in his hand.After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.

“ Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.

Tell them,‘“ As I live,” says the Lord Yahweh,“ I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?”’

Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.

Isaiah is very bold and says,“ I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”But about Israel he says,“ All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”For Yahweh says:“ Just as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let’s eat, and celebrate;for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate.

He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of Yahweh, in the majesty of the name of Yahweh his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.

Jesus said to them,“ My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.Don’t you say,‘ There are yet four months until the harvest?’ Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already.

But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’”

Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;that being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his mightwhich he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

Jesus said to him,“ Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.

But Saul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priestand asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.As he traveled, he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.He fell on the earth, and heard a voice saying to him,“ Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”He said,“ Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision,“ Ananias!” He said,“ Behold, it’s me, Lord.”The Lord said to him,“ Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Judah for one named Saul, a man of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight.”But Ananias answered,“ Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Jerusalem.Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”But the Lord said to him,“ Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name’s sake.”

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

They will call them“ The Holy People, Yahweh’s Redeemed”. You will be called“ Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken”.

and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.

who by the power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.
