因我这儿子是死而复活、失而复得的。’于是他们欢宴庆祝。

你们从前死在过犯和罪恶之中。那时，你们随从今世的风俗，顺服在空中掌权的魔鬼，就是如今在一切叛逆上帝之人心中运行的邪灵。我们以前也在他们当中随从罪恶的本性，放纵肉体和心中的私欲，与其他人一样本是惹上帝发怒的人。然而上帝有丰富的怜悯，祂深爱我们，尽管我们死在过犯之中，祂仍然使我们和基督一同活了过来。你们得救是因为上帝的恩典。在基督耶稣里，上帝使我们与基督一同复活，一同坐在天上，好借着祂在基督耶稣里向我们所施的恩慈，向后世显明祂无可比拟的丰富恩典。你们得救是靠恩典，凭信心。这不是出于你们自己，而是上帝的礼物；也不是由于你们的行为，以免有人自夸。我们是上帝的杰作，是在基督耶稣里创造的，为要叫我们做祂预先安排给我们的美善之事。

耶和华说：“这棵蓖麻不是你种的，也不是你栽培的，它在一夜之间长成，又在一夜之间死去，你尚且如此爱惜，我怎能不爱惜这尼尼微大城呢？城中单是连左右手都分不清的人就有十二万多，还有许多的牲畜。”

求你让我听到欢喜快乐的声音，让我这被你压碎的骨头可以欢跳。

耶和华救赎的子民必欢唱着回到锡安，洋溢着永远的快乐。他们必欢喜快乐，忧愁和叹息都消失无踪。

让那些智者明白这一切，让那些明哲了解这一切。因为耶和华的道是正道，义人要行走在上面，罪人却在上面跌倒。

当然不会！纵然人人都撒谎，上帝仍然真实可靠。正如圣经上说：“你的判语证明你是公义的；你虽被人控告，却终必得胜。”

人子来了，又吃又喝，你们就说，‘看啊，祂是个贪吃好酒之徒，与税吏和罪人为友！’

使外族人也因祂的怜悯而将荣耀归给上帝。正如圣经上说：“因此，我要在列邦中赞美你，歌颂你的名。”又说：“外族人啊，你们当与主的子民一同欢乐。”又说：“万邦啊，你们当赞美主！万民啊，你们当颂赞祂！”以赛亚先知也说：“将来耶西的根要兴起，祂要统治外族，外族人都要仰望祂。”愿使人有盼望的上帝，因为你们信祂，将诸般的喜乐和平安充满你们的心，使你们借着圣灵的能力充满盼望！

我们知道律法所讲的都是针对律法之下的人，好叫所有的人都无话可说，使全世界都伏在上帝的审判之下。
