The wedding banquet was filled with guests.When the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed for a wedding.So he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.“ Then the king told the attendants,‘ Tie him up hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’“ For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

On this mountain, the LORD of Armies will prepare for all the peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast with aged wine, prime cuts of choice meat, fine vintage wine.

She has prepared her meat; she has mixed her wine; she has also set her table.

Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says:“ Look! My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Look! My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Look! My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.Look! My servants will shout for joy from a glad heart, but you will cry out from an anguished heart, and you will lament out of a broken spirit.

Abraham ran to the herd and got a tender, choice calf. He gave it to a young man, who hurried to prepare it.
