主啊，你本為良善，樂於饒恕人，以豐盛的慈愛對待凡求告你的人。

他沒有按我們的罪待我們，也沒有照我們的罪孽報應我們。天離地何等的高，他的慈愛向敬畏他的人也是何等的大！東離西有多遠，他叫我們的過犯離我們也有多遠！父親怎樣憐憫他的兒女，耶和華也怎樣憐憫敬畏他的人！

主啊，你是有憐憫，有恩惠的神，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛和信實。

以掃跑來迎接他，將他抱住，伏在他的頸項上親他，他們都哭了。

從前你們是遠離神的人，如今卻在基督耶穌裏，靠着他的血，已經得以親近了。

你和你的子孫若盡心盡性歸向耶和華－你的神，照我今日一切所吩咐你的，聽從他的話，耶和華－你的神就必憐憫你，使你這被擄的子民歸回。耶和華－你的神必轉回，從分散你到的萬民中把你召集回來。你就是被趕逐到天涯，耶和華－你的神也必從那裏召集你，從那裏領你回來。

婦人焉能忘記她吃奶的嬰孩，不憐憫她所生的兒子？即或有忘記的，我卻不忘記你。

並且來傳和平的福音給你們遠處的人，也傳和平給那些近處的人，

於是約瑟伏在他弟弟便雅憫的頸項上哭，便雅憫也在他的頸項上哭。

約瑟備好座車，上歌珊去迎接他的父親以色列。他見到父親，就伏在父親的頸項上，在父親的頸項上哭了許久。

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，並一切在遠方的人，就是給所有主－我們的神所召來的人。」

有哪一個神明像你，赦免罪孽，饒恕他產業中餘民的罪過？他不永遠懷怒，喜愛施恩。他必轉回憐憫我們，把我們的罪孽踏在腳下。你必將他們一切的罪投於深海。

眾人痛哭，抱着保羅的頸項跟他親吻。

以法蓮是我的愛子嗎？是我喜歡的孩子嗎？我每逢責備他，仍深顧念他。因此，我的心腸牽掛着他，我必要憐憫他。這是耶和華說的。

我看見他的行為，要醫治他，引導他，使他和與他一同哀傷的人都得安慰。

「我從你旁邊經過，見你在血中打滾，就對你說：『你雖在血中，卻要活下去！』我又說：『你雖在血中，卻要活下去！』我使你成長如田間所生長的；你就漸長，美而又美，兩乳成形，頭髮秀長，但你仍然赤身露體。「我從你旁邊經過看見你，看哪，正是你渴慕愛情的時候，我就用我衣服的邊搭在你身上，遮蓋你的赤體；又向你起誓，與你立約，你就歸我。這是主耶和華說的。

他在人前歌唱說：『我犯了罪，顛倒是非，卻沒有受該得的報應。神救贖我的性命免入地府，我的生命也必見光。』

當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，在他接近的時候求告他。惡人當離棄自己的道路，不義的人應除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他；當歸向我們的神，因為他必廣行赦免。我的意念非同你們的意念，我的道路非同你們的道路。這是耶和華說的。天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的道路高過你們的道路，我的意念高過你們的意念。

以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你如押瑪？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心轉意，我的憐憫燃了起來。
