Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us.As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on his faithful followers.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.

But Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, hugged his neck, and kissed him. Then they both wept.

But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Then if you and your descendants turn to the LORD your God and obey him with your whole mind and being just as I am commanding you today,the LORD your God will reverse your captivity and have pity on you. Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!The wicked need to abandon their lifestyle and sinful people their plans. They should return to the LORD, and he will show mercy to them, and to their God, for he will freely forgive them.“ Indeed, my plans are not like your plans, and my deeds are not like your deeds,for just as the sky is higher than the earth, so my deeds are superior to your deeds and my plans superior to your plans.

How can I give you up, O Ephraim? How can I surrender you, O Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboiim? I have had a change of heart! All my tender compassions are aroused!
