He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities.For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him.As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth.

But Esau ran to meet him, hugged him, threw his arms around him, and kissed him. Then they wept.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

and you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and all your soul by doing everything I am commanding you today,then he will restore your fortunes, have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you.Even if your exiles are at the farthest horizon, he will gather you and bring you back from there.

“ Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you.

He came and proclaimed the good news of peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.He will again have compassion on us; he will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

There were many tears shed by everyone. They embraced Paul and kissed him,

Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.

You grew up and matured and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed and your hair grew, but you were stark naked.“‘ Then I passed by you and saw you, and you were indeed at the age for love. So I spread the edge of my garment over you and covered your nakedness. I pledged myself to you, entered into a covenant with you— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— and you became mine.

He will look at men and say,“ I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.He redeemed my soul from going down to the Pit, and I will continue to see the light.”

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call to him while he is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.“ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways.” This is the LORD’s declaration.“ For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I treat you like Zeboiim? I have had a change of heart; my compassion is stirred!
