人子来了，又吃又喝，你们说：‘你看，这人贪食好酒，与税吏和罪人为友。’

说：“你竟然到未受割礼的人那里，跟他们一起吃饭！”

法利赛人和经学家埋怨他的门徒，说：“你们为什么跟税吏和罪人一起吃喝呢？”

从雅各那里来的人还没有到以前，他和外族人一同吃饭；但他们来到了，他因为怕那些守割礼的人，就从外族人中退出来，和他们分开。

我以前写信告诉你们，不可与淫乱的人来往。这话当然不是指这世上行淫乱的、贪心的、勒索的，或拜偶像的人；如果是这样，你们就非脱离这世界不可。但现在我写信告诉你们，如果有称为弟兄，却是行淫乱、贪心、拜偶像、辱骂人、醉酒或勒索的，这样的人，不可和他来往，连和他吃饭都不可。

他对父亲说：‘你看，我服事你这么多年，从来没有违背过你的命令，可是你没有给我一只山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同欢乐。但你这个儿子，常常跟娼妓在一起，花尽了你的财产，他一回来，你倒为他宰杀肥牛犊！’
