Let him put his mouth in the dust, if so be there may be hope.

And I said, My strength is perished, and mine expectation from Jehovah.Remember mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is bowed down within me.This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope.It is of Jehovah’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

O Israel, return unto Jehovah thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render as bullocks the offering of our lips.Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods; for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

Who knoweth whether God will not turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And I said, I am cast out from before thine eyes; Yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Father, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.
