可是他醒悟过来的时候，就说：‘我父亲那么多的雇工都食物充足，我却要在这里饿死吗？

他回悟過來，就說：「我父親有多少雇工，食物充足有餘，我倒在這裏因饑餓而喪命啊？

可是他醒悟過來的時候，就說：『我父親那麼多的雇工都食物充足，我卻要在這裡餓死嗎？

既而悟曰、我父若許傭人、其糧有餘、我乃於此飢而死耶、

悔曰、我父若多傭人、其糧有餘、我乃饑而死乎、

既而省悟曰、我父傭人甚多、其糧有餘、而我餓死乎、

因自反曰：「父家多少傭工、皆得飽食而有餘、而吾將為他鄉之餓殍矣、

“ When he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!

“ Then he began to think clearly again. He said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough food! But here I am dying from hunger!

“ But when he came to himself, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!

“ When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself,‘ At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger!

When he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired workers have more than enough food, and here I am dying of hunger!

But when he came to his senses, he said,‘ How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here from hunger!

Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),

Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’

And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.“ While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language,‘ saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’So I said,‘ Who are You, Lord?’ And He said,‘ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’“ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision,

Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas.And he brought them out and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: that one thing happens to all. Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

Surely, after my turning, I repented; And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh; I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, Because I bore the reproach of my youth.’

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
