Then he turned to them and said,“ Which of you doesn’t work on the Sabbath? If your son or your cow falls into a pit, don’t you rush to get him out?”

便对他们说：“你们中间谁有驴或有牛，在安息日掉在井里，不立时拉它上来呢？”

耶稣对他们说：“你们中间谁有儿子或有牛在安息日掉在井里，不立刻拉他上来呢？”

然后又问他们：“如果你们有驴或牛在安息日掉进井里，难道你们不会立刻把它拉上来吗？”

就对他们说：“你们中间谁的儿子或牛在安息日掉在井里，不立刻把他拉上来呢？”

然后耶稣对他们说：“你们当中谁有儿子或牛在安息日这一天掉到井里，而不立刻把他拉上来呢？”

便對他們說：「你們中間誰有驢或有牛，在安息日掉在井裏，不立時拉牠上來呢？」

耶穌對他們說：「你們中間誰有兒子或有牛在安息日掉在井裏，不立刻拉他上來呢？」

耶穌對他們說：「你們中間誰有兒子或有牛在安息日掉在井裏，不立刻拉他上來呢？」

然後又問他們：「如果你們有驢或牛在安息日掉進井裡，難道你們不會立刻把牠拉上來嗎？」

就對他們說：“你們中間誰的兒子或牛在安息日掉在井裡，不立刻把他拉上來呢？”

便對他們說：『你們中間誰有驢或牛跌在井裏，在安息之日不立刻把他拉上來呢？』

然後耶穌對他們說：「你們當中誰有兒子或牛在安息日這一天掉到井裡，而不立刻把他拉上來呢？」

謂眾曰、爾中孰有牛驢於安息日陷于坎、不即曳之出乎、

謂眾曰、爾曹有牛驢、安息日陷阱、孰不即起之乎、

謂眾曰、爾中孰有牛驢於安息日陷阱、不即援之出乎、

復詰若輩曰：『爾中孰有一驢或一牛、禮日墮井、而不即曳之使出者乎？』

Then he asked them,“ If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?”

He asked them another question. He said,“ Suppose one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day. Wouldn’t you pull it out right away?”

And he said to them,“ Which of you, having a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”

And to them, he said,“ Which of you whose son or ox falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”

And He said to them,“ Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

Then He answered them, saying,“ Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a well, and will not straightway draw him up on a sabbath day?

And to them, He said,“ Which of you whose son or ox falls into a well, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?”

And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?

Then he said to them,“ Which of you, if you have a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”

He answered them,“ Which of you, if your son or an ox fell into a well, wouldn’t immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

But the Lord replied,“ You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day! Don’t you untie your ox or your donkey from its stall on the Sabbath and lead it out for water?

“ If you come upon your enemy’s ox or donkey that has strayed away, take it back to its owner.If you see that the donkey of someone who hates you has collapsed under its load, do not walk by. Instead, stop and help.

And he answered,“ If you had a sheep that fell into a well on the Sabbath, wouldn’t you work to pull it out? Of course you would.And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath.”

“‘ This is what the dream means, Your Majesty, and what the Most High has declared will happen to my lord the king.
