So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.

In the same way, you must give up everything you have. Those of you who don’t cannot be my disciple.

So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.

So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.

In the same way, therefore, every one of you who does not renounce all his possessions cannot be my disciple.

So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

So therefore whosoever he be of you that renounceth not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

In the same way, therefore, every one of you who does not say good-bye to all his possessions cannot be My disciple.

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.

So therefore whoever of you who doesn’t renounce all that he has, he can’t be my disciple.

But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ

So he left all, rose up, and followed Him.

Then Peter said,“ See, we have left all and followed You.”So He said to them,“ Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life.”

“ If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple.

So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him,“ You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.

saying,“ Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica— Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia.
