“ Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

先務農事、後建宮室。

耶穌曰狐狸有穴、飛鳥有巢、惟人之子、無枕首之所也、

我素偕爾、預語我儕必受難、後果如是、此爾所知、放我不能忍、遣人欲知爾之信主、恐試者惑爾、而我徒勞、

耶穌曰、爾所求者、爾不知也、我飲之杯、爾能飲乎、我受之洗、爾能受乎、曰、能、曰、我飲之杯、爾將飲之、我受之洗、爾將受之、但坐我左右、非我得與、惟與夫我父備位以待之者、○

我生斯世、猶在帷幕之中、使爾憶道、吾以為宜、吾自知棄帷幕不遠、以吾主耶穌基督示我、

又曰、共相建邑、經營層臺、高及霄漢、名藉以揚、庶免四方散處。耶和華臨格、觀眾所築之邑臺、曰、民弗異族、言弗殊音、今已有此作為、其後烏能底止。我儕臨格、淆其言語、使彼此不通。遂散之四方、於是罷築城之役。緣耶和華淆億兆之言語、散之四方、故名其邑曰巴別。
