And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a field, and I must needs go out and see it; I pray thee have me excused.

遺棘中者、猶人聽道而往、為此生之憧擾、貨財、宴樂所蔽、而不實、

背真理、向虛誕、

云爾曹困憊、當順從我、可獲寧宇、惟彼不聽。故我言耶和華之道、所以重叠、諄諄不已、分疏句讀、詳以相告也、維彼聽我藐藐、自取顛躓、陷於坎阱、

我傳默示、若已緘之函、使識文字者讀之、彼必曰、緘封之書、其何能讀、使不識文字者讀之、彼必曰我弗識也。

我自謂、彼貧乏者流、懵然愚昧、不識厥上帝耶和華之道。我必詣世家、與之語、彼庶幾灼知上帝耶和華之道、惟彼折軛斷維、不受約束。

其至己地、人不受之、

如挪亞時、其人飲食、嫁娶、迨挪亞入方舟之日、洪水至而湮眾、人子之日亦然、如羅得時、其人飲食貿易、樹蓺搆造、迨羅得出所多馬之日、天雨火硫而滅眾、人子顯日亦如是、當日在屋上者、其具在室、勿下取之、在田者勿歸、
