Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you.Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.

Everything is from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.Working together with him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”

Peter replied,“ Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Don’t move from house to house.When you enter any town, and they welcome you, eat the things set before you.Heal the sick who are there, and tell them,‘ The kingdom of God has come near you.’When you enter any town, and they don’t welcome you, go out into its streets and say,‘ We are wiping off even the dust of your town that clings to our feet as a witness against you. Know this for certain: The kingdom of God has come near.’I tell you, on that day it will be more tolerable for Sodom than for that town.

as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah: A voice of one crying out in the wilderness: Prepare the way for the Lord; make his paths straight!Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be made low; the crooked will become straight, the rough ways smooth,and everyone will see the salvation of God.
