Jesus replied:“ A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.

“ The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.Again, he sent out other servants, saying,‘ Tell those who are invited,“ See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.Then he said to his servants,‘ The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.“ But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.So he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.Then the king said to the servants,‘ Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’“ For many are called, but few are chosen.”

And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees.And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations.

“ Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the Lord your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.

THE BELOVED: I have come to my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk.( TO HIS FRIENDS): Eat, O friends! Drink, yes, drink deeply, O beloved ones!

Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord— For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all.“ Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, And the young men and the old, together; For I will turn their mourning to joy, Will comfort them, And make them rejoice rather than sorrow.I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord.”

And the Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” And let him who hears say,“ Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Then He said to him,“ A certain man gave a great supper and invited many,and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited,‘ Come, for all things are now ready.’But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him,‘ I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’And another said,‘ I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’Still another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’And the servant said,‘ Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.’Then the master said to the servant,‘ Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.For I say to you that none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper.’”

Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, And their heart shall rejoice as if with wine. Yes, their children shall see it and be glad; Their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
