憐憫貧窮的，就是借給耶和華；他的善行，耶和華必償還。

要叫你施捨的事行在暗中。你父在暗中察看，必然報答你。」

並且靠着神，盼望死人，無論善惡，都要復活，就是他們自己也有這個盼望。

行善的，復活得生；作惡的，復活定罪。

於是王要向那右邊的說：『你們這蒙我父賜福的，可來承受那創世以來為你們所預備的國；因為我餓了，你們給我吃，渴了，你們給我喝；我作客旅，你們留我住；我赤身露體，你們給我穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裏，你們來看我。』義人就回答說：『主啊，我們甚麼時候見你餓了，給你吃，渴了，給你喝？甚麼時候見你作客旅，留你住，或是赤身露體，給你穿？又甚麼時候見你病了，或是在監裏，來看你呢？』王要回答說：『我實在告訴你們，這些事你們既做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上，就是做在我身上了。』

但我樣樣都有，並且有餘。我已經充足，因我從以巴弗提受了你們的餽送，當作極美的香氣，為神所收納、所喜悅的祭物。我的神必照他榮耀的豐富，在基督耶穌裏，使你們一切所需用的都充足。

人因為先知的名接待先知，必得先知所得的賞賜；人因為義人的名接待義人，必得義人所得的賞賜。無論何人，因為門徒的名，只把一杯涼水給這小子裏的一個喝，我實在告訴你們，這人不能不得賞賜。」

惟有算為配得那世界，與從死裏復活的人也不娶也不嫁；因為他們不能再死，和天使一樣；既是復活的人，就為神的兒子。

睡在塵埃中的，必有多人復醒。其中有得永生的，有受羞辱永遠被憎惡的。智慧人必發光如同天上的光；那使多人歸義的，必發光如星，直到永永遠遠。

我又看見幾個寶座，也有坐在上面的，並有審判的權柄賜給他們。我又看見那些因為給耶穌作見證，並為神之道被斬者的靈魂，和那沒有拜過獸與獸像，也沒有在額上和手上受過他印記之人的靈魂，他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。這是頭一次的復活。（其餘的死人還沒有復活，直等那一千年完了。）
