善待窮人等於借貸給耶和華，耶和華必回報他的善行。

要不聲不響地去做。這樣，鑒察隱祕事的天父必賞賜你們。

並且我與他們在上帝面前有同樣的盼望，就是義人和不義的人都要復活。

他們都要從墳墓裡出來。行善的人復活後得永生，作惡的人復活後被定罪。」

那時，王會對右邊的人說，『我父所賜福的人啊，來承受創世以來為你們預備的國度吧。因為我饑餓時，你們給我吃的；我口渴時，你們給我喝的；我身在異鄉時，你們接待我；我赤身露體時，你們給我穿的；我生病時，你們照顧我；我坐牢時，你們來看我。』「那些義人會回答說，『主啊！我們什麼時候見你餓了就給你吃的？見你渴了就給你喝的？見你身在異鄉就接待你？見你赤身露體就給你穿的呢？我們又什麼時候見你生病或坐牢，就去看你呢？』「王會回答說，『我實在告訴你們，你們幫助我最卑微的一個弟兄，就是幫助我了。』

我現在樣樣都有，豐富有餘。我從以巴弗提手上收到了你們送給我的禮物，已經充足了。這些饋贈是蒙上帝悅納的馨香祭物。我的上帝必按照祂在基督耶穌裡的榮耀，豐豐富富地賜給你們所需用的一切。

因為某人是先知而接待他的，必得到和先知一樣的賞賜；因為某人是義人而接待他的，必得到和義人一樣的賞賜。人若接待我門徒中最卑微的人，並因為他是我的門徒而給他一杯涼水喝，我實在告訴你們，那人必得到賞賜。」

但那些配得將來的世界、從死裡復活的人也不娶也不嫁，就像天使一樣永遠不會死。他們既然從死裡復活，就是上帝的兒女。

許多長眠地下的人必醒過來，有些得到永生，有些蒙受羞辱，永遠被憎惡。智者必發出光輝，如耀眼的穹蒼；引導多人歸向公義的人必如閃爍的星辰，直到永永遠遠。

我看見許多寶座，上面坐著的人得到了審判的權柄。他們是為基督做見證、為了上帝的道而被斬首之人的靈魂。他們沒有拜獸和獸像，額上或手上也沒有蓋獸印。他們都一同復活，與基督同掌王權一千年。這是第一次的復活。其餘已死的人要等到那一千年過去後，才會復活。
