So those servants went out on the roads and gathered everyone they found, both evil and good. The wedding banquet was filled with guests.

Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the LORD your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

and if you offer yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted one, then your light will shine in the darkness, and your night will be like noonday.

When he went ashore, he saw a large crowd, had compassion on them, and healed their sick.When evening came, the disciples approached him and said,“ This place is deserted, and it is already late. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.

Rejoice before the LORD your God in the place where he chooses to have his name dwell— you, your son and daughter, your male and female slave, the Levite within your city gates, as well as the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow among you.

and is well known for good works— that is, if she has brought up children, shown hospitality, washed the saints’ feet, helped the afflicted, and devoted herself to every good work.

For there was not a needy person among them because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of what was sold,and laid them at the apostles’ feet. This was then distributed to each person as any had need.

Now all the believers were together and held all things in common.They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need.

Give beer to one who is dying and wine to one whose life is bitter.Let him drink so that he can forget his poverty and remember his trouble no more.

Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

for King Hezekiah of Judah contributed one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep for the congregation. Also, the officials contributed one thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep for the congregation, and many priests consecrated themselves.

Share with the saints in their needs; pursue hospitality.Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.

But give from what is within to the poor, and then everything is clean for you.
