耶稣又对请他的人说：“你摆设午饭或晚饭，不要请你的朋友、弟兄、亲属，和富足的邻舍，恐怕他们也请你，你就得了报答。

耶穌又對邀請他的人說：「你預備午餐或晚餐的時候，不要叫你的朋友、兄弟、親戚或富有的鄰居，免得他們也回請你，你就得了你的回報了。

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐、或晚餐、毋招爾朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐彼復招爾而受其報也、

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐、或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐彼亦請爾、而爾受其報、

耶穌復告主人曰：『爾設宴時、毋邀良朋昆弟戚屬富鄰、誠恐若輩還禮、則爾獲報矣。

Then Jesus said to his host,“ When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.

Then Jesus spoke to his host.“ Suppose you give a lunch or a dinner,” he said.“ Do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, or your relatives, or your rich neighbors. If you do, they may invite you to eat with them. So you will be paid back.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.

Then he turned to his host.“ When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said,“ don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Now He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him,“ Whenever you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor wealthy neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you to a meal in return, and that will be your repayment.

Then He also said to him who invited Him,“ When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.

And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.

He also said to the one who had invited Him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor[ thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you host a dinner or a banquet, don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you make a dinner or a supper, don’t call your friends, nor your brothers, nor your kinsmen, nor rich neighbors, or perhaps they might also return the favor, and pay you back.

你们若单爱那爱你们的人，有什么赏赐呢？就是税吏不也是这样行吗？

我的弟兄们，你们信奉我们荣耀的主耶稣基督，便不可按着外貌待人。若有一个人带着金戒指，穿着华美衣服，进你们的会堂去；又有一个穷人穿着肮脏衣服也进去；你们就重看那穿华美衣服的人，说：“请坐在这好位上”；又对那穷人说：“你站在那里”，或“坐在我脚凳下边。”这岂不是你们偏心待人，用恶意断定人吗？我亲爱的弟兄们，请听，神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，叫他们在信上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗？你们反倒羞辱贫穷人。那富足人岂不是欺压你们、拉你们到公堂去吗？

欺压贫穷为要利己的，并送礼与富户的，都必缺乏。

“你们要小心，不可将善事行在人的面前，故意叫他们看见，若是这样，就不能得你们天父的赏赐了。所以，你施舍的时候，不可在你前面吹号，像那假冒为善的人在会堂里和街道上所行的，故意要得人的荣耀。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。你施舍的时候，不要叫左手知道右手所做的，要叫你施舍的事行在暗中。你父在暗中察看，必然报答你。”

你们若单爱那爱你们的人，有什么可酬谢的呢？就是罪人也爱那爱他们的人。你们若善待那善待你们的人，有什么可酬谢的呢？就是罪人也是这样行。你们若借给人，指望从他收回，有什么可酬谢的呢？就是罪人也借给罪人，要如数收回。你们倒要爱仇敌，也要善待他们，并要借给人不指望偿还，你们的赏赐就必大了，你们也必作至高者的儿子，因为他恩待那忘恩的和作恶的。你们要慈悲，像你们的父慈悲一样。”

贫穷人连邻舍也恨他；富足人朋友最多。

“你要宣告国内的众民和祭司，说：‘你们这七十年，在五月、七月禁食悲哀，岂是丝毫向我禁食吗？你们吃喝，不是为自己吃，为自己喝吗？当耶路撒冷和四围的城邑有居民，正兴盛，南地高原有人居住的时候，耶和华藉从前的先知所宣告的话，你们不当听吗？’”

叫饥饿的得饱美食，叫富足的空手回去。

“你们禁食的时候，不可像那假冒为善的人，脸上带着愁容；因为他们把脸弄得难看，故意叫人看出他们是禁食。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。你禁食的时候，要梳头洗脸，不叫人看出你禁食来，只叫你暗中的父看见；你父在暗中察看，必然报答你。”
