耶穌又對邀請他的人說：「你預備午餐或晚餐的時候，不要叫你的朋友、兄弟、親戚或富有的鄰居，免得他們也回請你，你就得了你的回報了。

耶稣又对请他的人说：“你摆设午饭或晚饭，不要请你的朋友、弟兄、亲属，和富足的邻舍，恐怕他们也请你，你就得了报答。

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐、或晚餐、毋招爾朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐彼復招爾而受其報也、

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐、或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐彼亦請爾、而爾受其報、

耶穌復告主人曰：『爾設宴時、毋邀良朋昆弟戚屬富鄰、誠恐若輩還禮、則爾獲報矣。

Then Jesus said to his host,“ When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.

Then Jesus spoke to his host.“ Suppose you give a lunch or a dinner,” he said.“ Do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, or your relatives, or your rich neighbors. If you do, they may invite you to eat with them. So you will be paid back.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.

Then he turned to his host.“ When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said,“ don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Now He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him,“ Whenever you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor wealthy neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you to a meal in return, and that will be your repayment.

Then He also said to him who invited Him,“ When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.

And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.

He also said to the one who had invited Him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor[ thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you host a dinner or a banquet, don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you make a dinner or a supper, don’t call your friends, nor your brothers, nor your kinsmen, nor rich neighbors, or perhaps they might also return the favor, and pay you back.

其實你們如果只愛那些愛你們的人，會有什麼報償呢？連稅吏不也這樣做嗎？

我的弟兄們，你們應當持守對我們榮耀的主耶穌基督的信仰，不要懷著偏待人的心。如果有一個戴著金戒指、穿著華麗衣服的人進了你們的會堂，又有一個穿著骯髒衣服的窮人也進來了，你們卻看重那穿華麗衣服的人，對他說「請你坐在這好位子上」，而對那窮人說「你站在那裡」，或說「坐在我的腳凳下邊」；難道你們中間不就有了歧視，而你們也成了心懷惡念的審判官嗎？我親愛的弟兄們，請聽！神難道不是揀選了世上的那些貧窮人，使他們在信仰上富有，並且做他國度的繼承人嗎？這國度是他應許給愛他之人的。但你們卻侮辱了這貧窮人！那欺壓你們、把你們拉上法庭的，難道不是那些富有的人嗎？

欺壓貧弱者使自己富有的，送禮給富人的，都必缺乏。

「你們要謹慎，不可為了讓別人看到而在人面前行你們的義，否則就得不到你們天父的報償了。所以你施捨的時候，不要在自己前面吹號，像偽善的人那樣。他們在會堂裡和大街上這樣做，是為了要得人的榮耀。我確實地告訴你們：他們已經得到了他們的報償。你施捨的時候，不要讓你的左手知道右手所做的，好使你的施捨行在隱祕中。這樣，你那在隱祕中察看的父就將回報你。

如果你們只愛那些愛你們的人，難道有什麼可稱讚的嗎？其實連罪人也愛那些愛他們的人。如果你們只善待那些善待你們的人，難道有什麼可稱讚的嗎？連罪人也這樣做。如果你們借東西，只借給那些有指望能從他們收取的人，那有什麼可稱讚的呢？就是罪人也借給罪人，為要如數收回。不過你們要愛你們的敵人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何償還。這樣，你們的報償就大了，而且你們將成為至高者的兒女，因為他以仁慈待那些忘恩負義和邪惡的人。你們要仁慈，正如你們的父是仁慈的。

窮人甚至被他的鄰人所恨惡；富人卻有許多喜愛他的人。

「你要對這地所有的民眾和祭司說：『這七十年來，你們在五月和七月禁食、哀哭，是真的為我禁食嗎？當你們吃喝的時候，難道不是為自己吃，為自己喝嗎？這些話語難道不是耶和華藉著先前的眾先知所宣告的嗎？那時，耶路撒冷和四圍的各城都有人居住，並且很安穩，南地和高地也有人居住。』」

他用美物滿足飢餓的人，讓富有的人空手而去。

「你們禁食的時候，不要像偽善的人那樣愁眉苦臉。他們裝出難看的樣子，好讓人看出他們在禁食。我確實地告訴你們：他們已經得到了他們的報償。至於你，你禁食的時候，要梳頭洗臉，免得被人看出你在禁食；你反而要讓你在隱祕中的父看見。這樣，你那在隱祕中察看的父就將回報你。
