耶稣又对邀请他的人说：“你设午餐或晚宴，不要请你的朋友、弟兄、亲戚或富裕的邻舍，恐怕他们又回请你，你就得了报答。

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐、或晚餐、毋招爾朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐彼復招爾而受其報也、

耶穌復告主人曰：『爾設宴時、毋邀良朋昆弟戚屬富鄰、誠恐若輩還禮、則爾獲報矣。

Then Jesus said to his host,“ When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.

Then Jesus spoke to his host.“ Suppose you give a lunch or a dinner,” he said.“ Do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, or your relatives, or your rich neighbors. If you do, they may invite you to eat with them. So you will be paid back.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid.

Then he turned to his host.“ When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said,“ don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Now He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him,“ Whenever you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor wealthy neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you to a meal in return, and that will be your repayment.

Then He also said to him who invited Him,“ When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.

And he said to him also that had bidden him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, nor thy kinsmen, nor rich neighbors; lest haply they also bid thee again, and a recompense be made thee.

He also said to the one who had invited Him,“ When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, or your rich neighbors, because they might invite you back, and you would be repaid.

Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor[ thy] rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.

He said also to the man who had invited him,“ When you host a dinner or a banquet, don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.

He also said to the one who had invited him,“ When you make a dinner or a supper, don’t call your friends, nor your brothers, nor your kinsmen, nor rich neighbors, or perhaps they might also return the favor, and pay you back.

如果你们只爱那些爱你们的人，有什么赏赐呢？税吏不也是这样作吗？

我的弟兄们，你们既然对我们荣耀的主耶稣基督有信心，就不应该凭外貌待人。如果有一个手戴金戒指、身穿华丽衣服的人，进入你们的会堂；又有一个衣衫褴褛的穷人，也进去了。你们就看重那穿华丽衣服的人，说：“请坐在这好位上。”又对那个穷人说：“你站在那里。”或说：“坐在我的脚凳下边。”这不是你们对人有歧视，成了心怀恶意的审判官吗？我亲爱的弟兄们，请听：神不是拣选了在世上被认为贫穷的人吗？这些人却在信心上富足，而且是承受神的国的人。这国是神应许赐给爱他的人的。然而你们却侮辱穷人。其实，那些欺压你们，拉你们上法庭的，不就是富足的人吗？

欺压穷人为要增加自己财富的，送礼给财主的，必致穷乏。

“你们小心，不要在众人面前行你们的义，让他们看见；如果这样，就得不到你们天父的赏赐。因此你施舍的时候，不可到处张扬，好像伪君子在会堂和街上所作的一样，以博取众人的称赞。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。你施舍的时候，不要让左手知道右手所作的，好使你的施舍是在隐密中行的。你父在隐密中察看，必定报答你。

如果单爱那些爱你们的人，那有什么好处呢？罪人也爱那些爱他们的人。如果只善待那些善待你们的人，那有什么好处呢？罪人也会这样行。如果借给人，又指望向人收回，那有什么好处呢？罪人也借给罪人，要如数收回。你们要爱仇敌，善待他们；借出去，不要指望偿还；这样你们的赏赐就大了，你们也必作至高者的儿子，因为神自己也宽待忘恩的和恶人。你们要仁慈像你们的父仁慈一样。

穷人连邻舍也厌恶他；财主却有很多人爱他。

“你要告诉这地的人民和祭司说：‘这七十年来，你们在五月和七月禁食哀哭，岂是真的为我禁食呢？你们吃，你们喝，岂不是为你们自己吃，为你们自己喝吗？这些话耶和华不是曾藉着从前的先知宣告了吗？那时，耶路撒冷和四围的城镇都有人居住，很是兴旺，南地和高地都有人居住。’”

让饥饿的得饱美食，使富足的空手回去。

“你们禁食的时候，不可像伪君子那样愁眉苦脸，他们装成难看的样子，叫人看出他们在禁食。我实在告诉你们，他们已经得了他们的赏赐。可是你禁食的时候，要梳头洗脸，不要叫人看出你在禁食，只让在隐密中的父看见。你父在隐密中察看，必定报答你。
