Then he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.

Then Jesus told a story.“ A man had a fig tree,” he said.“ It was growing in his vineyard. When he went to look for fruit on it, he didn’t find any.

不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并且派你们去结果子，让你们的果子得以长存，好使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他会赐给你们。

然而，我栽种你为上等的葡萄树，全用纯正的种子；你怎么向我变为外邦葡萄树的坏枝子呢？

我要为我亲爱的唱歌，我所爱的、他的葡萄园之歌。我亲爱的有葡萄园在肥沃的山冈上。他刨挖园子，清除石头，栽种上等的葡萄树，在园中盖了一座楼，又凿出酒池；指望它结葡萄，反倒结了野葡萄。耶路撒冷的居民和犹大人哪，现在，请你们在我与我的葡萄园之间断定是非。我为我葡萄园所做的之外，还有什么可做的呢？我指望它结葡萄，怎么倒结了野葡萄呢？

圣灵的果子就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、

我并不求什么馈赠，只求你们的果子不断增多，归在你们的账上。

你从埃及拔出一棵葡萄树，赶出外邦人，把这树栽上。你在它面前清除杂物，它就深深扎根，蔓延满地。它的影子遮蔽群山，枝子好像高大的香柏树。它长出枝子，直到大海，伸展嫩枝，延到大河。你为何拆毁这树的篱笆，任凭路人摘取？林中的野猪践踏它，田里的走兽吞吃它。

看见路旁有一棵无花果树，就走到跟前，在树上找不到什么，只有叶子，就对树说：“从今以后，你永不结果子！”那无花果树立刻枯干了。门徒看见了，惊讶地说：“无花果树怎么立刻枯干了呢？”

收果子的时候快到了，他打发仆人到园户那里去收果子。园户拿住仆人，打了一个，杀了一个，用石头打死了一个。主人又打发别的仆人去，比先前更多；园户还是照样对待他们。最后他打发自己的儿子到他们那里去，说：‘他们会尊敬我的儿子。’可是，园户看见他儿子，彼此说：‘这是承受产业的。来，我们杀了他，占他的产业！’于是他们拿住他，把他扔出葡萄园外，杀了。葡萄园的主人来的时候，要怎样处置那些园户呢？”

第二天，他们从伯大尼出来，耶稣饿了。他远远地看见一棵无花果树，树上有叶子，就过去，看是不是在树上可以找到什么。他到了树下，竟找不到什么，只有叶子，因为不是无花果的季节。耶稣就对树说：“从今以后，永没有人吃你的果子。”他的门徒都听到了。

到了时候，他打发一个仆人到园户那里去，叫他们把园中当纳的果子交给他；园户竟打了他，叫他空手回去。园主又打发另一个仆人去，他们也打了他，并且侮辱他，叫他空手回去。园主又打发第三个仆人去，他们也打伤了他，把他推出去了。葡萄园主说：‘我要怎么做呢？我要打发我的爱子去，或许他们会尊敬他。’可是，园户看见他，彼此说：‘这是承受产业的。我们杀了他，产业就归我们了！’
