乃設喻曰、有植無花果樹於其葡萄園者、來而求果弗得、

Then he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.

Then Jesus told a story.“ A man had a fig tree,” he said.“ It was growing in his vineyard. When he went to look for fruit on it, he didn’t find any.

And he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.

Then Jesus told this story:“ A man planted a fig tree in his garden and came again and again to see if there was any fruit on it, but he was always disappointed.

And he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none.

非爾選我、乃我選爾立爾、俾爾往而實、且俾爾實恆存、致爾以我名求父者、父則賜爾、

然我植爾為嘉葡萄、出於嘉種、爾奚變為異種葡萄之劣枝乎、

我為良友而歌、論其葡萄園曰、良友有園、在彼山岡、其地膏腴、墾地除石、以葡萄之嘉種、植於其中、建臺鑿醡、冀結佳果、反生野果、耶路撒冷居民、及猶大人歟、今可在我與葡萄園之間、辨其是非、我於葡萄園所為者、又何加焉、冀結佳果、反生野果何也、

惟聖神之果、乃仁愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、

我非求贈、乃求結實繁多、以益於爾、

昔爾攜葡萄出埃及、逐異邦而植之、為之四周備地、蟠根甚深、蔓延遍地兮、其影蔽山、其枝如上帝之香柏兮、枝延及海、條至大河兮、爾何毀其垣、任路人摘之、林彘毀之、野獸齧之兮、

道旁見無花果樹就之、無所得、惟葉而已、謂之曰、今而後、爾永不實、樹即枯、門徒見而奇曰、無花果樹何枯之速也、

果期將近、遣僕就農夫收果、農夫執其僕、扑一、殺一、石擊一、復遣他僕、較先尤眾、農夫待之如故、後遣其子、意謂必敬我子矣、農夫見其子、則相語曰、此其嗣子、且來殺之、據其業、遂執之、出諸園外殺焉、園主至、何以處此農夫乎、

翌日、出伯大尼耶穌飢、遙見無花果樹有葉、就之、意於其上或有所得、及至、惟葉而已、蓋非果期也、耶穌謂樹曰、今而後、永無人由爾食果矣、其徒聞之、○

屆期、遣一僕就農夫、令納園中之果、農夫扑之、使之徒返、再遣他僕、亦扑之、且辱之、使之徒返、三遣其僕、農夫又傷而逐之、園主曰、我將如之何、必遣我愛子、庶或敬之矣、農夫見之、相議曰、此其嗣子、我且殺之、業歸我矣、
