“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

“ Jerusalem! Jerusalem! You kill the prophets and throw stones in order to kill those who are sent to you. Many times I have wanted to gather your people together. I have wanted to be like a hen who gathers her chicks under her wings. And you would not let me.

先知中、不為爾祖窘逐者誰乎、且殺預言義者將至之人、此義者爾今賣而殺之矣、

如鷹攪巢、振翮於雛、舒翼以引、負之其上、獨耶和華導之、無異族之神偕在、

耶路撒冷歟、耶路撒冷歟、殺先知石擊使於爾者乎、我欲集爾赤子、似牝鷄集雛翼下者屢矣、而爾不欲也、爾室為墟、遺諸爾矣、我語汝、今而後、爾不見我、迨爾云、奉主名來者宜頌也、

既近、見城、則為之哭、曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、

且擲爾及爾中子女於地、不遺一石於石上、以爾不知眷顧爾之日也、○

主耶和華、以色列之聖者曰、爾之得救、在於回轉安處、爾之得力、在於寧靜信賴、惟爾不欲、

惟命之曰、當聽我言、我則為爾上帝、爾為我民、悉行我所命爾之道、必蒙福祉、惟彼不從、不傾耳以聽、乃行己謀、徇其惡心之剛愎、退卻不前、

耶穌顧之曰、耶路撒冷之女乎、毋為我哭、當為己及子女哭、

願耶和華報爾所為、爾來託庇於以色列上帝耶和華翼下、願其大賚爾、

錫安之子女歟、爾其歡欣、因爾上帝耶和華而喜樂、以其錫爾秋雨、適合其宜、為爾降甘霖、即春雨秋雨、同乎疇昔、

我緣斯而哭泣、滿目流涕兮、慰我心蘇我靈者、遠乎我兮、我之子女伶仃、敵人獲勝兮、

我遣我僕諸先知詣爾、夙興而遣之曰、噫、此可憎之事、我所疾者、爾勿行之、惟彼不從、不側耳以聽、不改其惡仍焚香於他神、故我傾怒洩忿於猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢、如火之焚、使之荒寂、有如今日、

願其有智、明乎此事、思厥終局、

毋效爾列祖、古先知呼之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、轉離爾之惡途惡行、惟彼不聽、不從我言、耶和華言之矣、

夫夏甲者乃亞拉伯之西乃山、猶今之耶路撒冷也、蓋彼與其諸子為僕、惟在上之耶路撒冷乃自由、我眾之母也、

長子怒、不肯入、父出勸之、

屍仆大邑之衢、斯邑譬之所多瑪與埃及、即其主釘十架之處也、

先知召之愈殷、彼則離之愈遠、獻祭於巴力、焚香於雕像、

民遂同謀、循王所命、以石擊斃之、於耶和華室院、如是、約阿施王不憶其父耶何耶大相待之恩、而殺其子、臨死則曰、願耶和華鑒而究之、○

惟彼弗順、叛逆乎爾、背爾法律、爾之先知勸令歸爾、彼乃殺之、大干震怒、

必覆爾以其羽、爾託庇其翼下、彼之誠實、乃盾乃干兮、

我來無人在焉、我召無人應焉、何耶、我臂豈短、不能行贖乎、我豈無力、不能施救乎、我叱咤、則滄海涸竭、江河變為沙漠、鱗族失水、死而腥臭、

耶和華曰、爾宜立道中而觀、訪其古道之善者而行之、如是、則心獲安、惟彼曰、我弗由之、

上帝歟、尚其憫我、尚其憫我、我心託庇於爾、在爾翼之蔭下、待斯災禍之逝兮、

深願我民聽我、以色列遵行我道兮、

緣其先知干罪、祭司蹈愆兮、乃流義人之血於其中兮、

是日也、在耶路撒冷之教會、大起窘逐、使徒而外、皆散於猶太及撒瑪利亞諸地、

願其存心畏我、恆守我誡、俾受福祉、爰及子孫、歷世靡暨、

眾擊時、司提反籲曰、主耶穌、納我神也、

農夫執其僕、扑一、殺一、石擊一、復遣他僕、較先尤眾、農夫待之如故、

其餘執僕、辱而殺之、

爾棄聖且義者、求以兇人予爾、而殺維生之主、乃上帝自死而起者、我儕為之證、

爾之寬容、歷年已久、以爾之靈感諸先知、俾警戒之、惟彼不聽、故爾付於異邦人手、

願以色列因造之者而喜、郇民因其王而樂兮、

利甲子約拿達命其子孫勿飲酒之言、彼眾遵之、迄今聽從祖命、而不飲酒、惟我雖夙興而訓爾、爾不我聽、

贖爾之耶和華、以色列之聖者曰、我乃爾之上帝耶和華、我訓誨爾、俾爾獲益、導爾於當行之途、願爾恪遵我命、則享綏安、若河水之流、且得仁義、若海濤之湧、爾之後裔、多若塵沙、爾之所出、繁若砂礫、其名不沒、不絕於我前、○

我召爾、爾弗從、我伸手、莫之顧、我之規訓、爾蔑視之、我之斥責、爾弗受之、爾遭患難、我必哂之、爾受恐惶、我必嗤之、爾之恐惶、如狂風之來、爾之患難、如颶風之至、罹憂傷、遇窘苦、斯時呼籲我、我弗應、切尋我、而弗得、因其憎惡知識、不喜寅畏耶和華、不受我之規訓、輕忽我之斥責、

遣僕召所請者赴筵、而不至、

其列祖之上帝耶和華、矜恤其民、與其居所、夙興遣使以戒之、惟彼訕笑上帝之使、藐視其言、譏其先知、致耶和華之怒及於其民、無可救治、

上帝歟、爾之慈惠、何其寶貴、爾翼蔭下、世人託庇兮、

我乃耶和華、爾之上帝、攜爾出埃及、爾張厥口、我即充之兮、惟我民不聽我聲、以色列不納我兮、

我民決志違離我、雖有召之向上、興者迄無一人、

我責爾子、乃徒然也、彼不受教、爾刃如猛獅、吞噬爾先知、

曳烏利亞出埃及、攜至約雅敬王、王殺之以刃、擲其屍於平民之墓、

護我如眸子、覆我於翼下、
