He replied,“ Go tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’

耶稣对他们说：“你们去告诉那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驱赶鬼魔、治愈疾病，然后在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌說：「你們去告訴那個狐狸說：『今天、明天我趕鬼治病，第三天我的事就成全了。』

他說：“你們去告訴那個狐狸，今天明天我趕鬼醫病，第三天我的事就完成了。

耶穌對他們說：『你們去告訴那個狐狸說：「你看吧，今天明天我趕鬼，完成醫務，第三天我就完了。」

耶穌對他們說：「你們去告訴那狐狸：看哪！今天明天我驅趕鬼魔、治癒疾病，然後在第三天，我的事就得以完成了。

耶穌對曰：『往告彼狐、予於今日明日逐魔治疾、第三日將畢吾程；

He replied,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons. I will keep on healing people today and tomorrow. And on the third day I will reach my goal.’

And he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.

Jesus replied,“ Go tell that fox that I will keep on casting out demons and healing people today and tomorrow; and the third day I will accomplish my purpose.

He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look, I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.’

And He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I reach My goal.’

And He said to them,“ Go, tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’

And he said unto them, Go and say to that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures to- day and to- morrow, and the third day I am perfected.

He said to them,“ Go tell that fox,‘ Look! I’m driving out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete My work.’

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third[ day] I shall be perfected.

But he said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Look, I am casting out demons and performing healings today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will complete my work.

He said to them,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.

In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.

and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

But when John rebuked Herod the tetrarch because of his marriage to Herodias, his brother’s wife, and all the other evil things he had done,Herod added this to them all: He locked John up in prison.

but Jesus said to them,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins.

Then I said,“ Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of Israel. Should you not embrace justice,you who hate good and love evil; who tear the skin from my people and the flesh from their bones;who eat my people’s flesh, strip off their skin and break their bones in pieces; who chop them up like meat for the pan, like flesh for the pot?”

King Herod heard about this, for Jesus’ name had become well known. Some were saying,“ John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”

“ But Rabbi,” they said,“ a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you, and yet you are going back?”Jesus answered,“ Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light.It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”

The king was greatly distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he did not want to refuse her.So he immediately sent an executioner with orders to bring John’s head. The man went, beheaded John in the prison,and brought back his head on a platter. He presented it to the girl, and she gave it to her mother.

For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform a sign of some sort.He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer.The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him.Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate.

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Her officials within her are roaring lions; her rulers are evening wolves, who leave nothing for the morning.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. And he was perplexed because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead,others that Elijah had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had come back to life.But Herod said,“ I beheaded John. Who, then, is this I hear such things about?” And he tried to see him.

When he had received the drink, Jesus said,“ It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
