是日、法利塞數人來告曰：『其速離此、希祿欲殺汝也。』

At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him,“ Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”

The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.

At that time, some Pharisees came up and said to Jesus,“ Get away from here, because Herod wants to kill you.”

For they all would have made us afraid, saying,“ Their hands will be weakened from the work, that it not be done.” But now, strengthen my hands.I went to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabel, who was shut in at his home; and he said,“ Let us meet together in God’s house, within the temple, and let’s shut the doors of the temple; for they will come to kill you. Yes, in the night they will come to kill you.”I said,“ Should a man like me flee? Who is there that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.”

In Yahweh, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul,“ Flee as a bird to your mountain”?For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
