Then one said to Him,“ Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them,

And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them,

“ Lord,” someone asked Him,“ are there few being saved?” He said to them,

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

Someone asked him,“ Lord, will only a few be saved?” So he said to them,

One said to him,“ Lord, are they few who are saved?” He said to them,

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

When Peter saw him, he asked,“ Lord, what about him?”Jesus answered,“ If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.“ Tell us,” they said,“ when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”Jesus answered:“ Watch out that no one deceives you.For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

“ For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

“ Teacher,” they asked,“ when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”He replied:“ Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming,‘ I am he,’ and,‘ The time is near.’ Do not follow them.

Someone in the crowd said to him,“ Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”Jesus replied,“ Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?”Then he said to them,“ Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

“ So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

He said to them:“ It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

“ Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?”Jesus said to them:“ Watch out that no one deceives you.

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked,“ Who then can be saved?”
