多有納其言而受洗者、一日之內、歸化者約三千人、

然聞道而信者益眾、數約五千。

復又喻曰：『天國猶如芥子；芥子百種之至微者、人取以植於其田、比長、則大於諸蔬、蔚然成樹、即天上飛鳥、亦來棲於其枝。』

眾聞之、無不歸榮天主、謂葆樂曰：『爾觀猶太人之信教者盈千累萬、篤守摩西律法；

惟此類魔鬼、非禱與齋、亦不能祛耳。』

主曰：『第有信德如芥種、即命此桑樹自拔、而移植於海、亦從爾命矣。

『兄弟請聽吾言！西門頃言天主夙已垂顧異邦、選取其民、歸依聖名。先知所言、亦與此相符。經云：厥事之後吾當歸、重建大維之殘帷。收拾廢墟築新宅、萬象煥然映朝輝。餘人至此亦歸主、萬邦一心戀庭闈。誰作斯語經綸主、真宰夙知今所為。

惟假吾之手而已。或以言語、或以行為、或以聖蹟、異能、何一非聖神之妙工乎？吾傳基督福音、足跡已遍耶路撒冷及其周圍之地、直達伊利利亞。

角七鳴、天上眾音並作、相和而言曰：普天之下、率土之濱、咸歸天主、基督是君、千秋萬歲、統於一尊。

徧地豐稔。黍稷離離。乃至山巔。百榖滋生。汎汎翠浪。彷彿麗盆。邑民欣欣。如草在春。赫赫令譽。與日偕存。悠悠人世。賴以蒙恩。萬邦作頌。百祿萃身。
